Four Oakland Officers are being laid to rest as I type this. It is such a sad day for that dept. I wish that we could go pay our respects.Being that we are sick over here all i can do is watch the funeral services on the TV and pray for their families and fellow officers in their department that will grieve the loss of not only 1 but 4 good officers. Sick,Sick,Sick

Yep thats what our house is. Sick. With the except of Atticus everyone else is some form of sick. John has Strep Throat, I have a chest cold on top of allergies that are starting full force, Olivia is still battling her ear infections, bronchitis and Pertussis and Caylee has a chest cold too.

I havent been in the mood to do anything lately. This after noon i had to force myself to go to the store. I know if i dont keep moving Its just going to get worse. anyway thats out little update. I will leave you with a couple more of the Point Reyes photos from the weekend. I cant wait to go back. I really did love it up there.

Our Trip to the coast!

Today we went To South Beach in Point Reyes California! It was a 2.5 hour drive through the hills until we finally broke out and saw nothing but Coast line. AMAZING. This was Williams first time at the beach so he was super excited. My mom went with us and it was a huge help having all 5 of the kids.

We just enjoyed the peace of it all. We had a light lunch and the kids ran around and played and watched the surfers! All in all it was a fantastic day. I really needed this little getaway. It was so peaceful and beautiful i really didnt want to leave but it started to rain so we had to. If we didnt have the kids John and I probably would have stayed and just walked along the beach in the rain.

Happy Birthday William!

William Officially turned Seven on February 9th of this year but this is the first time we have been able to bring the kids up here for a visit since Caylee's birthday in January. So we had a little mini family celebration this evening. He opened his Presents ( Clothes, and starwars legos and some books) Then we had a yummy Taco dinner followed by singing happy birthday and having a ice cream cake! YummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmSo anyway tomorrow is our trip to the coast Im sure i will have photos when we come home! HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY WILLIAM JOSE.Sorry its so late!!!

Old Photographs

The One thing I love is Old photographs. Especially when they are of Myself or my husband. We have been cleaning out our storage unit to get rid of a bill and Have came across old photographs of his family. So i thought i would share a few! Enjoy

Caylee: is on her 3rd month of braces. She has already broken 2 brackets in the short time she has had them on. On the 13th we go to get her 2nd adjustment to the top ones and to get her bottom brackets on. so After friday she will officially have a full mouth of braces. She is doing pretty well in school got her report card back at the begining of this week and Her grades are pretty good a few things she can do better on. Reading and language arts is a B, Writing is a C+, Her Math grade is a B+, Spelling is a A-,Science is a B+, and history is a B-. Her goal for this last trimester of 3rd grade is to get her writing grade up to atleast a B. While C's are average i know she could do a little better. Its mostly because she doesnt take the time to make sure she correctly puncuates her sentences and paragraphs. Just like her mom...lol She reads a whole grade level above where she is and she needs just a little help on her timed subtraction. Hopefully the end of the year report card will show her grades alittle higher up. especially since 1st grade and half of 2nd grade she was on Honor roll.
Olivia: Starts back to a preschool type program April 10th. Its a specialized preschool to focus on her speech. We all know that anyone that has met Olivia she is alittle hard to understand. So this is very much needed. She is super excited about starting back to school again. I know she is going to do alot better in the 6months before kinder starts than she did at the preschool she was at. I know for a fact that her speech therapist isnt going to talk baby talk to her and will actually work with her to help her succeed. That is my ultimate goal is to have my children do better in school than i did.
Atticus: Well he is just atticus. terrible two's in full swing. Nothing much i can do about it but hope that 3's get better. Im thinking once both the girls are in school and he can get one on one time with myself and alittle with john everyday he might calm down. key word might. Who knows. he is a Campos boy...lol That right there says it all!Alright well those are the little updates i have for right now. I will update again once we have Melanie and William down for a weekend! until then.Peace Love and Happiness!
